IMP Pairs Congress ResultsPosted: January 17th, 2012
In the morning, Jim Bean and Mark Mordo shot ahead and finished the morning session with 618 IMPs. The next closest pair were Peter Bendelstein and Terry Bodycote on 452 IMPs. The afternoon session was won by Margaret Gidley-Baird and Robert Case with 473 IMPs. Curiously, if the morning session had been scored as Match Point Pairs, Margaret and Robert would also have won the morning aswell. Adding the two sessions together:

Beginners Lessons (Change of Date)Posted: January 27th, 2012
We have changed the previously advertised date for our beginner's Bridge Lessons to Thursday evening at 7:30pm, March 8th. The cost is $50 which includes four lessons, two practice sessions and 6 months free membership. Membership entitles you to play for less table money if you wish to continue with your bridge in our supervised sessions.

Last Friday Graeme Cohen, Michael
Rosenman, Paul Lavings and Susie Berger triumphed fairly comfortably over
Michael Waring, Tom Kiss, Michael Bishop and
Visitor.
The afternoon starts at 2:00pm and cost is $15. You do not
need to bring a team as we have stand by players available.
